Cisco's Webex in many ways is the Swiss Army knife of meetings platforms. Between Meeting Center, Training Center and Event Center you can accomplish just about any goal. Especially with the addition of the ability of virtually any video endpoint to call into cloud meetings. There is one gap that can get attention and that is how to connect from telepresence endpoints into large scale broadcasts, or any room video system for that matter.
Cisco and vbrick have partnered together to bring video to your enterprise at scale. Cisco rooms systems bring great production quality simple to use experience to your conference rooms. When Rev is layered on top of that it enables organizations to efficiently deliver high-quality live and on-demand video to enterprisewide audiences. These audiences need not be limited to the corporate WAN but can be extended beyond the boundaries of your organization. Rev allows you to centrally manage video assets, user access, and permissions.
Rev plugs right into your Cisco Collaboration tools. Invite your panelists into a WebEx meeting and allow them to dial in from their telepresence endpoint of choice. When they are ready to go live, dial out from the Rev web portal straight into your meetings address.
Once Rev is connected into your meeting you can record the meeting and store that for video on demand or create a live webcast. These webcasts connect the speakers and the audience with integrated interactivity features. Hosts can interact with their audience via polls and surveys throughout the webcast. Live chat is available for audience members to connect, and real-time questions and answers can give viewers a direct connection to presenters.
